December Energy Update: Continued from NewsLetter

Almost There!

Transitions can feel uncomfortable.  We haven't left the Bush parallel and are not quite in the Obama one. This has a destabilizing effect, causing the stock market to continue its roller coaster ride and the government to keep on throwing huge sums money at corporate bailouts. People are scared and don't know what will happen.

Treasury Secretary Paulson is a good example of this, changing his mind constantly about what to do about the economy. All of this can seem weird and irrational, and  yet it will continue. Notice if your instinctive center is a bit jumpy about what Bush is doing before he leaves. He intends on creating karma on his way out the door, and you may be sensing it. He represents a dying, oil-based paradigm, which won't let go of its power hold without putting up a fight.
At a spiritual level, however, powerful changes are taking place with the breakdown of systems that no longer work to clear the path for innovative ways of being. One theme for 2009: Don't just think outside the box, let go of the box completely.

Tools for Transition: Gratitude, Adaptability, Creativity
As corny as it sounds, gratitude will take you a long way in manifesting your needs in these difficult times. Under the laws of  attraction, gratitude is an energy that attracts love, healing, and abundance. Close your eyes and take a moment to be thankful for all have, your health, your beautiful home, all those you love, those that love you, your furry friends, and the daily
abundance you do experience. Notice what happens to your body and overall peacefulness when you do this exercise. Ask your guides and higher self for what you want from this place of peace and love.

We will continue to make adjustments in this instinctive year in preparation for a new cycle of being on this planet. Rigid adherence to the way it was and attachment to form will cause suffering. Learn to adapt to the global and economic changes by being creative. If you lost your job in the real estate market, discern what talents and strengths you have that can be applied to another industry. Even if it is only temporary, it may give you the stability you need.

Make adjustments in your lifestyle in order to keep financially afloat. Get rid of your cable TV and spend more time with friends or reading. Some of you may find this is the perfect time to go back to school and complete a degree or learn a trade. Call upon your spirit guides and physical plane pals for support. Trade your services to get what you want. If necessary, get a business coach or a job placement counselor. Whatever you are attached to, try letting go, keep an open mind and another door will open. As older souls, you have been through much worse. Do you remember the Plague or the Inquisition? Do you remember how cold it was and how much disease there was in your past lives? You can do this.

 December Energies:

·        As a reminder, the instinctive year is still putting pressure on everyone
to make changes at the deepest levels of your being. Take time to observe
what you are currently working on. Acknowledge how much you have shifted
this year and make a list so you can look at it. Include all accomplishments
you have made spiritually, emotionally, financially, physically, with your
health, and more. Take time to appreciate yourself for all you have done. Great ritual for a New Years Celebration!

·        The early part of December brings inspirational energies, which make it an
ideal time to tune into the visions of possibilities for the upcoming year.
Connect with your higher self and ask to be shown. Make a plan.

·        Also, pay attention to the desire to overspend or overextend during this
time. Be practical, grounded and deliberate with your resources.

·        By mid-month, watch out for irritability and a flaring of tempers. This is
in part due to the current economic upheaval we are all going through, which causes people to feel frightened and out of control. Most people act out their fear through anger and aggression. Deal with your fears constructively exercise, talk about them, seek healing support  and be alert not to take on the projected anger of others.  Take responsibility for yourself; foster cooperation and compassion.

·        Overall, December favors being with your “spiritual family” or DNA family members who make you feel loved and appreciated. It’s time to nurture yourself by stocking up on healthy comfort foods, cuddling up with pets, enjoying intimate get-togethers with like-minded pals, snuggling in bed with a good book, and other nourishing activities. Be kind and loving to yourself and let go of self-criticism. Let yourself have some fun!  This will build your energy, or chi, which you will need in the extreme next year.

·        By the end of the month, you may experience heaviness as the incoming energies on 2009 start merging. Next year has a low frequency, a plodding pace and may feel like you are walking through molasses. If you took the time to nourish yourself in December, you will be thankful that you did come 2009.

Newsletter November Energy Update: Get Your Parallel Groove On

That's because during powerful shifts such as this, your higher self and essence have collaborated to create the appropriate scenarios and relationships that you will need on the new parallel. This is because your spirit is adjust to the new energy and deciding what you will need to pack for the journey. In the weeks leading up to the election, you may experience yourself rethinking your life, changing your mind, and either drawing from your past or creating whole new paths.
Your spirit (higher self / essence) are deciding whether you need a new healer, a new business partner; or whether now is the time to move to another state. It is investigating how these new energies will impact your original blueprint for this life, deciding what it must add or release to make it possible.
Who gets on your personal parallel is important to your spirit. It is looking for individuals necessary for your support as well as whatever agreements and karmas you need. You may find friends from your past resurface while current friendships start to fade away. This may seem odd to your personality, but it starts to happen anyway.
During these shifts, you may have intense dreams about people and various circumstances where you are either delving into the past or doing something completely different. Sometimes our spirit will process a past experience of the astral plane so that it won't have to carry the unresolved energy of it into the new parallel. These dreams are giving your personality a glimpse of what your spirit is sorting. Years from now you may experience déjà vu as you find yourself living one of your dreams.

As opposed to the conscious sorting one may experience during a nexus, with a parallel shift you will find yourself gravitating towards one thing or another quite naturally. This is due to decisions already made at the spirit level.
If you want to play with the upcoming parallel shift, visualize the parallel reality where McCain wins, moving the time line in your mind out to four years after the election. What does it feel like? Are you tense or relaxed or neither? What are you doing there? What adjustments did you make about your life in that parallel? Are you living in the U.S.? (That was a joke.) What is the state of the world? What happens with Iraq?
Now visualize Obama wins and again move the time line out. Notice the difference in your body, your emotional center, and your thinking. What adjustments did you make in the Obama parallel? Are you tense or relaxed? Did you change jobs? What is the state of global affairs? What happens with Afganistan and Iraq?

After the Election: Full Speed Ahead
It will take a week or two after the election to allow everyone's instinctive center to adjust to the new parallel. If you are having a difficult time adjusting, you might consider the use of Rescue Remedy (Bach flower essence) or Arnica Montana (homeopathic remedy) which can be used for high levels of stress and shock. You might want it just to get through election night.
No matter what happens, it will be a huge adjustment.
Once people ground into the new parallel, they will feel more confident about getting through the current economic and environmental issues. From mid-November into December, the pace then picks up and it's full speed forward.

The 2008 Bioneers Conference

I left the Bioneers Conference feeling a bit sad. The turn out was about half of the people they had last year and there was definitely a “down” feeling by the founders of the Bioneers, Kenny Ausbel and Nina Simmons. With our economy in a recession, if I dare use the “r” word, it was obvious people were not spending money to attend. I even opted to buy one of their discounted tickets, which meant we, my friend Linda and I, sat in a tent watching speakers on a huge screen rather than sit in the luxurious theatre to see them live.

The overall impression of the presenters made us all aware that the global warming issue is real and happening quicker than first estimated. From the point of view of the founders, more funding is necessary to educate people to make a substantive change. At the same time our economy, and the rest of the world for that matter, is feeling financially contracted. I just felt a wee bit bummed about this.

On the upside, hanging out for a day with great speakers and conscious people is always inspiring for me. Janine Benyus, a biologist and author, talked about her passion, biomimicry. This is the study of natural intelligence in all life forms to figure out ways to create sustainable products and processes. If there is a problem to be solved, she asks the question: How would nature do it? Some of her examples are architecturally designed buildings that cool themselves, which was inspired by termites; and the control of bacteria, which was inspired by how red algae protect themselves from various bacteria. You can learn more about biomimicry and purchase her new book 101 Nature’s Best World-Changing Innovations Inspired by Nature by going to http://www.biomimicryinstitute.org/

She told a story about a New Zealand woman who spends her days off work sitting in a forest to protect Kiwis, an endangered bird, from non-indigenous predators. Some kind of light beam is placed around the nest so that when the parent Kiwi leaves, it notifies the “bird sitter” to protect the egg. There are times when this woman would literally place blankets around and over the egg to keep it safe. Janine, who clearly loves this earth, asked each of us to please “tuck in and keep safe” our own “egg” in nature wherever we live.

Bill McKibben was another innovative speaker at the Bioneers. An author and environmentalist, his current book is entitled Deep Economy: The Wealth of Communities and the Durable Future. In it he describes the trend we will all be seeing in the future, and that is the “need to move beyond ‘growth’ as the paramount economic ideal and pursue prosperity in a more local direction, with cities, suburbs, and regions producing more of their own food, generating more of their own energy, and even creating more of their own culture and entertainment.” The message is: GET LOCAL AND FORM COMMUNITIES. You can learn more about him at http://www.billmckibben.com/

Being a very energetic Artisan, Bill had all of us take out our cell phones and text both presidential candidates to invite them to the UN Climate Meeting in Poland in December of 2008. The goal is 35,000 text messages to McCain and Obama by Election Day. You can help by going to http://www.350.org/and click on the box “Invitation Counter” and enter your info. They are currently at 31,000 invitations. The significance of “350” is that according to scientific study, humans must reduce carbon dioxide to no more than 350 parts per million in the atmosphere to avoid permanent damage to the planet.

After listening to six main speakers, a bunch of other speakers in between, lots of PowerPoint presentations with graphs, charts, numbers, statistics, data, and more, my brain was absolutely fried. My right brain was desperate for balance. Linda, who is pictured, and I headed out for the lawn and a picnic lunch. It was a beautiful, sunny fall day. It felt so relaxing sitting under the trees and enjoying one of my best pals.

From then on, we decided to roam the exhibit hall, allowing our minds to relax and browse the booths. There is one booth that we always seem to end up staring at with morbid fascination. It’s the one where people put their feet in an ionized footbath that is supposed to draw toxins out of the body. A handful of people lined up in a row with their feet soaking in these “magical” baths lined the main walkway. The water in every one of these footbaths is absolutely filthy, gross and disgusting looking. It really turns my stomach! Some of them have dirty bubbles around their ankles. This reminds me of a bad past life in the Dark Ages and the Plague. I always wonder if this really works or is just hype. I thought I would see if I could find anything on this topic on the internet, and low and behold I found this site: http://www.chem1.com/CQ/FootBathBunk.html.

I still don’t know what to think. The person who writes this website is a total Skeptic and probably a young soul as well.

The last experience I want to share has to do with water. On the grounds by the exhibition hall, three women put together a water-gathering place to honor the water spirits. Springs and water holes historically have been places to gather water, a necessary element, and to connect with community. They have also been places of healing and meditation, such as the spring of Lourdes.

Mary White, Andree Thompson, and Christina Bertea built a recycled pond using a discarded satellite dish, because it represents communication. Solar floating flowers were placed in the pond to keep mosquitoes away. Blue ribbons were also tied to the surrounding trees to allow people to leave messages, which they indicated is a tradition in some cultures. The pond was graced with a Hopi saying, “When the springs dry up, the earth is tired.”

There was something very amazing about this exhibit. While it was very simple, the water element felt strong and alive. At the same time it was soothing and calming. The water elementals were definitely very active. My hunch is the reason it seemed so alive is that those three gals did some sort of invocation or ritual to enliven this sweet, little pond with all that water energy. By the way, if you do have any kind of ponds or fountains, do your own invocation and invite the water spirits to share your space, bringing their healing energy with them. Offer them gratitude and see what happens.

"October Energy Update" Continued from News Letter:

Spiritual Balancing and Course Corrections
Maybe the job was making you miserable and physically sick, and it was Spirit’s way of getting you “back on track” with the Life Purpose you created before incarnating. An argument with a loved one might mean the “air needs to be cleared” so you will be able to stick with your intended agreements. Others may experience this month on an internal level, making changes in how they think about a person, problem or life path. The key to working with the energy this month is to understand the circumstances presented are signals to your personality that balance and a change in course are necessary.
There is also an emphasis on relationships in October. You may find yourself reconnecting to someone from the past, transforming a current relationship or making new friends. You may be inspired to heal a painful relationship to allow release and completion. Despite the fact Mercury is retrograde, communication is favorable and constructive if you stay in balance and open to new ideas. Libra the Scales, the Sun Sign for October, asks us to hold the middle point and watch that we don’t fall in the rut of taking sides. Polarities create each other and keep karma in play with heavy emotional states. The world is full of polarities. The current polarity being played out in the U.S. is the battle of the Democrats and Republicans. With the impending election it may be difficult to stay somewhat neutral. Polarities always insist there is a good guy and a bad guy. Mostly they each side is a reflection of the other. Stay anchored in your truth from a place of peace and know there is a higher evolution being played out.
Harmony and balance for the mind and body are vital for October. For mental equilibrium, keep an open mind and stay connected to your higher consciousness. Develop balance for the body with grounding activities such as tai chi, walks in nature, chi gung, yoga, meditation, or just plain stretching. Creating or connecting to Beauty is also harmonizing. Beauty emanates from the Buddhaic Plane, the higher moving center. Notice that whenever you are observing something of beauty – a sunset, a child, a flower – your focus is totally in the present, or what Eckart Tolle calls the "power of now." Find ways of harmonizing your life, especially as tensions build around the impending election.

Earth Spirit Living: Bringing Heaven and Nature Into Your Home

I recently read a book by Ann Marie Holmes, entitled Earth Spirit Living: Bringing Heaven and Nature Into Your Home. The overall theme of the book is how we can partner with the earth to heal nature and ourselves. The author believes each one of us has the ability to tune into our surroundings and homes and make a difference in our quality of life. This book was written as “an offering for all who long to live in ways that are healthy and harmonious, joyfully connected to Self, to others, and to our planetary home.”

Ann Marie studied under Professor Lin Yun, leader of the Black Sect Tantric Buddhist School of Feng Shui in San Francisco, and spent many years at Findhorn in northern Scotland. The Findhorn Foundation describes themselves as a “spiritual community, ecovillage and an international centre for holistic education, helping to unfold a new human consciousness and create a positive and sustainable future.” http://www.findhorn.org/ The author blends Feng Shui and her intuitive earth work to give the reader an understanding of why making a loving connection to nature is so valuable, along with easy-to-use techniques to make this happen. Just a few of the benefits of attuning to the energies around us are better health, more harmonious relationships, improved prosperity, effectiveness at work, reduced stress, and more.

Part One of the book explains the earth’s energy web and the various aspects of it such as ley lines, vortexes, and power points. The author introduces the concept of “body radar,” and teaches the reader how to discern the subtle energies of the earth by tuning into the flow or blockages in environments. She talks about connecting to the nature spirits in rocks, water, trees and flowers. She believes we all have “body radar” and need only pay attention to our surroundings to discover it.

Part Two gives in-depth information on Feng Shui for home and office. Ann Marie talks about how to restore balance and vitality to these two important areas of our lives and provides solutions to problematic spaces. The third part covers moving, remodeling and building a new home or structure. The last section offers practical, do-it-yourself exercises and visualizations for using your body radar, as well as cures for land and environments, ceremonies and other conscious practices regarding land and structures.

To date this is the best book I have read on creating a conscious, loving connection to the earth and our surroundings. The book flows and is easy to understand for those not used to tuning into nature energy or feng shui. Ann Marie wants the reader to know they have the ability to work with energy and encourages us to feel free to explore the given techniques. You don’t need to go to Findhorn or study feng shui for years to be effective. You can do this and it’s fun! We do have the ability to make the connection; it just takes practice.

The cures, ceremonies, and techniques presented in the book are definitely worth trying. I was instructed by “the fairies” to create a water feature on our front porch to flow more chi/energy into our home. The front door symbolically represents an individual’s connection to the world. If the front door area is lifeless and blocked in some way, then the energy doesn’t flow to the individual. The energy I am referring to translates to money, abundance of all forms, and even recognition by the outer world.

I assembled the fountain using Ann Marie’s tips and intention setting and then created a ceremony to bless the fountain and invite in the water spirits. The splashing water and plants give me a joyous feeling, and bring harmony and energy to our home. I actually like coming in and out of the front door. Since I set it up, my husband was chosen Employee of the Quarter and I am getting more social invitations. I’ll keep you posted on how it’s working.

There is a lot of great information in this book about healing our earth and our environments. Besides recycling and going “green,” I believe we need to make a spiritual connection to the earth. This book helps the average person do just that.

For those of you who are Michael students, Ann Marie is a 4th Old Sage with a Scholar essence twin. Her goal is Growth, attitude of Spiritualist, mode of Observation and emotionally centered. She clearly has a big heart for mother nature. Find her book on Amazon. www.amazon.com

The Incredible Lightness of Fairies

Over the years, many of you have heard me talk about going to Oregon to visit my dad and his wife. They live on Sutton Lake just north of Florence in what used to be my grandmother’s house. I spent many summers fishing, swimming, clamming and climbing sand dunes. Their home is perfectly situated inland just out of reach from the fog yet only a few minutes drive from the coast and the famous Oregon Dunes National Recreational Area. Their house is warm and cozy with real pine paneling on the walls. The upstairs has two large bedrooms, and I like to sleep in the room on the upper right as you look at the house. I have a lot of happy memories staying there.
Considering my grandfather bought the property over 75 years ago, there hasn’t been much building in the area. To the east of their place are three houses tucked in wooded areas, and to the west is a lush meadow surrounded by old growth trees. I was later to discover that fairies gather at a powerful spot at the base of the meadow.
But my fairy story actually begins with a nap. But before I get to what happened, I first have to talk about the legendary naps at grandma’s house. The sudden urge to take a nap in the afternoon happens to me and just about everybody else that visits. It is such a relaxing place with calming energy emanating from the trees and lake that I get sleepy and want to lie down during the day. I feel all of my stress melt away and my muscles unwind.
This past July I went to Oregon because my dad had knee surgery, and I wanted to lend a hand when he came home from the hospital. The day I arrived, I felt like taking a rest in the late afternoon. As I dozed off, something kept distracting my mind. I couldn’t relax and sleep. It felt like something or someone was tugging on my awareness. I finally stopped trying to nap and paid attention. I was suddenly overcome with the most sweet flower smell and a joyful, uplifting energy. From my past experiences with earth spirits, I knew it was fairy energy. I opened my mind to find out what they wanted, and I instantly felt their desire to connect with me. It seems they had a request.
In general I have found earth spirits are very motivated to connect to those humans that are open to their presence. They seem to know we must work together for the wellbeing and sustainability of our planet. Whenever I travel to natural surroundings, I find they often show up to “talk.”
The fairies told me they wanted to bring healing energy to the lake itself, the surrounding terrain, and the people who lived around the lake. I was surprised they were interested in healing people, but they indicated it was part of their purpose to bring harmony and balance to humans as well as the land, plants and animals. I was to “clear” all the negative human energies around the lake. These energies consist of negative thoughts and emotions left by humans. I am defining “negative” as anything driven by shadow emotions, such as fear, anger and shame. I have come to understand that earth spirits, such as fairies, are not capable of clearing human energy; their job is to work with life force energy. If humans “pick up after themselves,” they can do their job efficiently.
The Oregon fairies told me they “live” near a stand of old trees at base of the meadow. They indicated this location is a power spot, which is why I’m sure they hang there, and that the entire lake is fed life force energy from this point. I hadn’t really thought about it before, but when I hiked around to the point of land across the lake from the meadow and looked, I could see what they were talking about. The photo shows the meadow lined with trees, which is the natural topography. The fairy glen is at the very back of the meadow. You can see the natural flow of powerful earth energy pouring out to the lake. Sorry, I couldn’t get a good shot of the fairy glen. Of course, I did as they instructed. I never like to let my fairy friends down. I borrowed my dad’s “field car,” a dusty, old Toyota Corolla, which always has rock samples and a geology pick in it (my dad is a geologist), and took off on the road encircling the lake. As I drove, I invoked all kinds of guides and angels to assist in clearing any “bad vibes.” The fairies were with me all the way, sweeping behind my car with the most beautiful healing energy. I “saw” a golden mist moving through the land, trees, into the water and into the various homes. I experienced this as calming, peaceful, soothing and joyful. I felt satisfied at being able to be of service to our planet and the people. The whole experience felt like a blessing.

That task done, I had to have one of my favorite desserts: huckleberry pie. Shirley, my dad’s wife, usually bakes several when I visit. We usually eat pie for breakfast. Here is a picture of huckleberries on the vine. They’re not ripe yet and are still green. When I was taking this picture, I thanked the Huckleberry Fairy for such a yummy fruit. My dad and Shirley usually get a good crop unless the bears get them first.

Mornings are serene and magical on the lake and a great time to sit on the dock and behold the “mist fairies.” Being in the peacefulness is meditative. Here are some pictures of mornings on the lake. One of them shows the wooden gangway I walk on to get to the dock. My dad was still in the hospital after knee surgery, so I thought I would take some time and head north up the coast and breath in the Pacific Ocean air. The weather was absolutely glorious, sun shining, blue skies. Just a few minutes drive from their house is the Heceta Lighthouse and the Sea Lion Caves tourist site, where you can take an elevator to sea level caves where sea lions birth their young. South of the Heceta Lighthouse is a beautiful white sandy beach called Heceta Beach, which stretches several miles. Oregon holds a special place in my heart because of its beauty, fairies, and really great times in nature with my family. And my dad is doing just great with his new knee.

"September Energy Update" continued from newsletter.

The challenge this month is the Chief Feature of Self-Destruction, particularly in the form of addictions. All humans have an Addict Subpersonality. This subpersonality is activated when there is unresolved pain, which stems mainly from the Inner Child. When the main personality is avoiding the pain, the Addict Sub is set into motion by urging the personality to do something to diminish it. “Have a drink,” it says. “Go shopping and buy more stuff.” The addiction is meant to make the entire personality feel better, and it does temporarily. Eventually the cycle of pain and addictive behaviors start all over again. The Addict isn’t bad, but actually has a good intention of helping, even if it is shortsighted. If your addictions are up, take a moment to thank your Addict for its help, and then consider going to the source of your pain and stress.
Mercury goes retrograde on September 24th until October 15th. Make sure to be clear in your personal and work communications. The New Moon in Libra on September 29 ushers in feminine energy for the month of October with an emphasis on partnership, money, personal worth and what you are willing to give yourself.
The period from the Fall Equinox on September 22 to the Winter Solstice on December 21 provides grounded, balanced energy for manifesting. The U.S. economy remains sluggish, but still moves forward. Spending is down as consumers remain cautious and uncertain about the election and the overall economy. Manifesting flows if you make solid, well thought out goals and then implement a step-by-step plan to get them done. It takes only a little energy now to make it happen. For those with an artistic flare, make yourself a “Treasure Map” to remind yourself of your dreams.

Election of 2008: The Struggle of Soul Age!

The polarity between change and staying with the status quo, a reflection of soul age, will be at the core of this election. The Michael Teaching describes the five soul ages as Infant, Baby, Young, Mature and Old. Each soul age has specific drives, needs and beliefs, and these are reflected in an individual’s choices of lifestyle, clothing, religions/spirituality, and politics. (For more see The Michael Handbook by Jose Stevens and Simon Warwick-Smith)
Changes facing the global community on issues of power, oil, water, health, resources, just to name a few, can make individuals and countries desperate and terrified. Change is particularly difficult for younger souls (Infant, Baby, Young, early Mature) causing fear and a rigid adherence to old ways of doing things. Staying with old strategies can give one the feeling of safety and stability.
Older souls (late Mature and Old), like mellow grandparents in a family, understand that change is necessary for the bigger picture. Older souls have had a lot more lifetimes and experience and are more flexible about addressing the inevitable problems facing the world. Making changes takes courage, patience and tackling the uncertainty of moving in new directions. In this election year, we will see the differences in soul age demonstrated with candidates, policies, and fear levels.
The U.S. is essentially a Young Soul Warrior, which makes this nation aggressive, progressive, and on its down side, focused on acquiring power and resources/money. John McCain is also a Young Soul Warrior, which makes him complementary to the overall populace. If enough Infant, Baby, Young and early Mature Souls panic about coming changes, McCain could be elected because he represents the currently established ways of doing things, giving folks the feeling they are secure. Sarah Palin, also a 4th level Young Sage with a Warrior essence twin, reinforces the Young Soul consciousness.
At the Young level, an individual soul desires to experience power, control, and material acquisition. They focus on the outer world and are not driven to examine their thoughts, emotions and motives. The Young Soul is the furthest point from the TAO or One, so they see the world from a model of separation. “You are not me and I am not you; and I just want to do what I want.” They tend to see issues as “black and white,” and see the world as “us against them.” This worldview creates polarity in politics, which was demonstrated by the terms “Axis of Evil” by George Bush and Al-Qadea’s belief the West is “God’s enemy.” The Young Soul still desires to create karma with others, and is more willing to go to war than older souls. Young Souls are not wrong or bad; they are evolving exactly how they should be in the human game. As a reminder, all old souls have gone through this phase of development.
This sets the stage for conflicting values with Barack Obama, a Mature Soul Priest. In our next installment, we talk about the differences between Young and Mature Souls, and why younger souls maybe fearful of Obama.

August Energy Continued from Newsletter.

The Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius on August 16th provides an opportunity to open to higher consciousness and a connection to Oneness. The Higher Intellectual Center is activated for many, and provides an opening for spiritual wisdom from the Higher Self. Have you been asking your guides and angels for help with something? Giving yourself meditative, quiet time will help create the space for the answers you seek. As far as physical plane manifesting, energy in August will be felt as surges of movement forward followed by stagnation. The Michael Teaching describes this as moving back and forth between Caution and Power Modes. You might the energy as stepping on the gas, then stepping on the brake, and so on. This might feel uncomfortable and even frustrating. Watch any impulsiveness if you get stuck, especially for those in Impatience. Think it out, take your time, and be deliberate if you want to make changes. As the economy continues to contract, stay connected to your dreams and core values. Your Higher Self will support you in your security and survival through these times if you listen. Also, in an Instinctive Year, due to the level of fear and scarcity, you will see a lot more scams and get-rich-schemes. Desperate people will resort to unethical activities to con individuals of their money and resources. Keep an eye out. The Fall Equinox coming up brings in new energies and a shift in directioncase studies, success stories, testimonials or examples of how others used your product or service successfully. Solicit material from clients and vendors, or ask your readers to write. It's a win-win! You get relevant content, and they get exposure.

Give Up the Ghost!

James is a huggable, loveable gent that I have been working with for several years. He lives in a charming Victorian four-plex in the upper Fillmore District of Pacific Heights in San Francisco. He was remarking to me how many problems he had with one of his units. He indicated he always felt very uncomfortable walking into the apartment and had problems with tenants.
Even though a very attractive space with beautiful natural light, James said it felt lonely, uninviting and forlorn. He also indicated the last few tenants had developed drug or alcohol problems, which seemed like a strange coincidence. These problems caused emotional and financial hardship for James, and he was very concerned when the apartment needed to be rented again. He asked me to investigate the problems and do a clearing and blessing of the property.
James also stated he never felt safe and secure in his own apartment downstairs and the property as a whole. He was not worried about robbers or prowlers; he just felt the building was somehow unsafe. It was always in his mind that he should move because he never felt at home there.
Generally before I step foot on a property, I meditate on it first to check out the energy and invoke my guides and angels for support and protection should I encounter anything of a shadow nature. I meditated and then headed out on a sunny Friday for my next land adventure.
The first thing I did was walk around the neighborhood to check out the surrounding influences on the Victorian. It was set back from the street just a bit, which was perfect because it created protection from the hectic surrounding businesses. I fired up my sage stick, which is so huge I always think of the State of Liberty and her torch, and started walking through the backyard garden, invoking clearing and healing as I went.
The fairy garden had been recently planted, and it was clear to me the gardener that James hired loved the plants, the land and what he did. The energy felt clear except for the landing that came off the master bedroom. I sensed a lot of fear there. I asked James about it, and he said he did not like walking down the steps because he was afraid he might fall. I cleared the fear energy, and then we placed large planters on the steps and landing to create the feeling of being “held in” and safe.
Next, I moved through James’s apartment waving my torch the whole way. There was a blockage of energy near the front entryway, which I cleared. It felt like an old thoughtform, but I really was not sure. It left. I continued upstairs to clear the staircase and landing. That is when the strangest thing happened.
I suddenly started hearing the music of an old-fashioned player piano as well as people laughing, talking and being rowdy. I mentally saw visuals of a time in the early 1800s and the people who had lived in the house. It appeared to have been some kind of boardinghouse with lots of people coming and going. I then moved into the apartment in question.
When I first opened the door, I immediately felt the heavy energies there. The last two tenants in particular had many problems, so I spent time clearing their emotions, thoughts and intentions. After that layer cleared, I experienced a deep sadness, desperation and pain. I intuited its source and came into contact with a deceased man who had died of alcoholism in the bedroom. His spirit was stuck in the pain of that life and he needed help crossing over. After invoking his guides and angels to assist his release, he left with gratitude that he was free to move on. I can only conclude his energy was creating and attracting people of like vibration. I can always tell when a place is “cleared” because it literally “lightens up.”
After clearing all the unsupportive energies, I created an invocation for a healing and blessing for all who live in the building. This included calling in the angel of the building. I believe every structure has an angelic overseer and it is important to give thanks for their help. (More about this in another blog.) I then thanked the garden fairies and earth spirits and asked them for their energetic support of the land and building. I asked James to spend time connecting with them to create a community of cooperation. I was done.
James then held an open house to rent the apartment in question. When he walked into the apartment, there was no foreboding energy. He remarked that even though the blinds were drawn and the apartment was dim and empty of furniture, he felt an overall peace and wellbeing. The open house was extremely successful in that James got a great tenant on the first day of showing.
After the clearing and blessing, James says, “I feel at home in my apartment and no longer feel like a stranger or that I should leave. I feel at home now. Everything is peaceful. I do not feel like my house is falling down around me anymore. The building actually feels structurally sound, even though it needs repairs. I think Holly’s work overall is very worthwhile and a gift to the universe. She heals the split between solar and lunar forces.”
.”
I love and enjoy doing this new work because it is about healing spirit, self and nature. Please let me know if you have any questions or want my service!

Free and Clear Hawaiian Style

I wanted to let you know about a recent land clearing in Hawaii. On my trip to the Big Island, I stayed with a good friend LaRissa, who also does land clearings. On a very voggy (volcanic smog pouring from Kilauea) day LaRissa, Sio, her companion, and I set out. We met with the landowner, Vince, and his father, Rubin. Vince was having problems getting a construction loan with the bank. It was at an impasse and he did not know what to do.
Vince was clearly meant to have this land. He recounted that a friend had asked him to buy it way back when he was in high school. He was now in his forties. Years later, it was offered to him again, but someone else delayed the purchase because they also wanted it. The problem with the property at that time was it was landlocked. The third time Vince was again offered the land he finally purchased it. He asked his neighbor for an easement, and much to Vince’s surprise was given the easement with a blessing.
Larissa, Sio and I started our day by chanting a beautiful Hawaiian chant from Molokai, which invokes love and healing for all. We invoked all the Guides, Angels, Earth Spirits connected with the land, and the people involved. Then we started walking the land, the most important aspect of getting in touch with the energies.
When land clearing, there are many factors to be considered. First, we looked at the topography to observe how the landscape was created and if there are any natural blockages, such as a landslide. We are also looking to see if man has done any damage to the physicality of the land that may alter the energetic flow.
On this particular property, a very deep ravine had no water flowing through it because a neighbor up the mountain had diverted the water into a lava tube. The water spirits, who were still holding the energy of the water in the ravine, were very unhappy.
The next step was to intuitive look at the bioenergics of the property to see if there were any “spiritual power spots,” as well as connect to the earth spirits there. There was a power spot where the pure energy of Gaia was out flowing from deep within the Earth. These spots are amazing because the energy is so pure, magical, and filled with powerful earth spirits. If you are ever near one, you will definitely know it because it will appear mysterious and enchanting, and your body will resonate to its energy and beauty. At this level, we are also looking for a connection to the fairies, elves, devas, overlighting earth angels, and earth spirit caretakers. On the other hand, what I call the Earth’s Ancestors.
There was a potent spirit that showed up who was the overseer of the power spot. I intuited it was curious about us because we were admiring “his” spot. We asked if it was OK to build a structure on this five-acre parcel. We immediately understood that it was acceptable as long as they did not build over the power spot. I knew it meant that if the owners did build on the power spot, they would suffer in many ways: health concerns, lack of abundance, financial problems, etc. This would happen because that would block the energy flow, NOT because the earth spirits would cause it.
After that, we checked for any human energies. It is important to note that humans leave more than trash or a carbon footprint on the land; they also leave energetic debris. This takes the form of thoughtforms and emotions. These residuals stay within the bioenergetic field of the land and distort the natural energy. Ghosts can also inhabit the location, which also need to be cleared.

(I discovered this years ago when I was visiting a park in Virginia. While visiting friends, we decided to have a picnic at the local park. It was a beautiful location with rolling lush green hills and old stands of trees. I started to feel nauseous and extremely uncomfortable. Frankly, I wanted to get the heck out of there; it gave me the creeps! Then someone mentioned that the location we were at was actually a battlefield during the Civil War, where thousands upon thousands of soldiers were killed. A light bulb went on in my head, and I started to tune into the energies there. It was overwhelming, to say the least, because there were so many ghosts walking around, as well as emotional pain and suffering fused into the land. It was bigger than I could take on.)
This Hawaiian property had two human influences: an area where a pot grower had been and left his emotions and drug consciousness, and a burial site that also had human suffering connected with it.
Lastly, we intuitively meditated on all the people connected with the property. There was lots of family issues between the two couples that bought the property that had not been addressed, which were clearly going to be a future problem if not spoken to. Owners, neighbors, and any others with an interest in a property all impact it with their consciousness.
Our healing work for the land started by invoking the Overlighting Water Angel, a powerful earth angel, to bring water energies back to the ravine so the water spirits would be balanced and happy. The water spirits were happy! I love water spirits and think they should be encouraged in one’s home or land because they are so soothing and healing. Next, we cleared the human energy off, invoking the earth energies from below the surface to move into those locations for healing. We were essentially inviting the earth energies back.
We then did a group meditation, creating a “grid” of healing and support for the family to heal their differences with patience and love. We also visualized the bank being supportive and providing the necessary loan. I always make sure to ask for the highest good for all and let “the powers that be” determine the outcome. It is not my place to interfere with dharma.
Our last task was to talk with Vince and his dad about what we saw and our recommendations. We informed him of the power spot and that he shouldn’t build over it. We suggested he even create a landscape altar in that location to acknowledge the spirits there. That way they could communicate with them and create a partnership on the land. Practically, we suggested he get together with his wife and the other 2 owners of the land to get clear on who got what part of the acreage, who was financially responsible for what, and more; and to get it in writing. We told him to visualize his loan coming to him with ease and for a healing within the family.
We concluded by thanking all the spirits, guides and angels for their support, and asked them for a blessing upon the land. Last, I heard, Vince indicated the other couple had suddenly decided they did not want to be a part of the property and wanted to be bought out. Vince said it would eliminate the problem of permits and getting a loan because they are not dividing the property.
Next, a clearing at a San Francisco Victorian. Ghosts and more!

Crazy Coffee Farm

I have left the east side of the Big Island and am now staying on the Kona coast in a magical, funky and rustic coffee farm. My good friend LaRissa is caretaking the farm for six months while the owners are away.
First off, let me define the word “farm”, because it has a different meaning in Hawaii. It is not organized in any way. This one-acre plot of land has meandering paths with mass plantings of bromeliads, exotic flowering vines, taro plants, papaya and banana trees, ferns, all surrounded by a tropical forest of bamboo. The coffee plants are interspersed between all of thatI .
It is a wonder anything grows here since the ground is almost solid lava. The coffee plants are spindly, but covered with lots and lots of beans.
Despite the rustic outside appearance of the buildings, inside they are cozy and thoughtfully designed with sustainability in mind. The crystals and spiritual artifacts make it a welcoming environment for me. There is an outdoor kitchen, which is really fun to hang in. Three sides are open and it has a tarp roof over it. It¹s sounds weird, but it¹s really refreshing to be outdoors while cooking and eating especially since it is so warm here. I also like the fact that several Hawaiian cardinals, a beautiful red bird, fly in and look for crumbs to eat. That may not appeal to some, but I love birds and often feed them when I have come here on vacation, much to the frowning look of my husband. Check out the picture of the kitchen.
In the kitchen there is a fish bowl with greenish water where the pet goldfish lives. I watched as a green lizard climbed up the side of the bowl and came eye-to-eye with the goldfish. They stared at each other for several minutes. It made me laugh to see two very different critters look at each other with a quizzical look. I tried to capture their meeting in a photo.
Speaking of critters, did I mention there are lots and lots of mongooses? They give me the creeps when they scamper about the farm. I do, however, love the little green lizards, which some folks call geckos but I am told are actually something else. There apparently is a native brown gecko that lives in Hawaii, and the green and hot orange one is an import.
The import is crowding out the natives. That seems to be a familiar theme worldwide, don¹t you think? Anyway, these little green guys are all over the place, and I do mean “all over the place.”l I sat at an outdoor coffee shop and had two at my feet and one on the table, all snacking on some tidbit of food that was dropped there. They look kind of silly because they are always licking their lips.
LaRissa and I are going to be working with some landowners who want their land cleared of any negative energy as well as create a blessing and intention so they can get the bank loan they need for construction. With the state of the home loan market, I think it takes a blessing, and all the gods and goddesses available as well.
I am definitely getting my “kitty fix” here on the farm. A little black-and-white kitty named Tyrone follows me around. He is definitely chill and mellow, a typical Hawaiian kitty. That¹s all for now.
With much love and aloha, Holly

Kalopa Native Forest

Steve and I got up early today for a hike through a native Hawaiian rainforest. This park is 100 acres of rare plants, trees, palms and ferns of every imagination. It is located on the east side of the Big Island near the town of Honoka’a. Since it is located so far from the heavy tourist areas of Kona and Hilo, there are never that many people in the park. Even the trails didn’t have a lot of human thought forms. Despite there being so few people, there are lots of facilities, such as a campground, cabins for groups or individuals, a meeting building and lots of trails. Our hike was a walking meditation. The forest trail was quiet except for the sounds of birds and some sort of insect. There are very tall tree ferns that form the most amazing canopy. There are also amazing hobbit-like trees that seemed to emanate magical energy. This place is very peaceful and relaxing.

Much love and aloha, Holly

Aloha from Hawaii!

Aloha from Hawaii!
Today is the first day of my two-week trip to the Big Island of Hawaii. Of all the islands, this is my favorite because it's so alive with energy. It's raw and creating more land as we speak. Kilauea has been erupting with a vengeance the last several weeks and the vog is very thick. It is the worst I have ever seen on the Big Island. For those of you who don't know what vog is, it is the gas and ash that is released into the air during eruptions. It really impacts those who have allergies and asthma. Go to this link to see updated pictures of the eruptions: http://hvo.wr.usgs.gov/kilauea/update/images.html
Hawaii is my true home. When I get off the plane and feel the air on my skin, I relax and my spirit seems to take over. I lose the need to make it happen and shift to "island time." I am here to work on a soul age book with my friend and work partner Steve Cocconi. The soul age info is one of the best aspects of the Michael Teaching because it gives real incite into why people behave the way they do. I will be talking more about this later. If you have any ideas about what you would like to see in a soul age book, please email me them to me.
I am also scheduled to teach a workshop on Life Purpose as well as channeling for some folks. This is my first time working in Hawaii, and it feels like a dream come true. Next week I meet up with my girlfriend LaRissa, and we will be doing a land clearing together. I'll let you know how that works out. Off today toKalopa State Park for a morning hike. I'ts a rain forest on the east side of the Island. Much love and aloha, Holly

Grounding Up, Not Down

This is a picture of Mt. Diablo and the surrounding valley where I reside. The town in which I live had the great foresight to save extensive acreage for open space in and around neighborhoods and the downtown. I am fortunate that just up my street is a trailhead to a beautiful hike through rolling hills with oaks, tall grasses and wildflowers. From this vantage point I can see Mt. Diablo, and this is one of the places I like to connect with the earth’s energies.

When I first started my spiritual path, I was in high school. My mom was into metaphysics, and we had lots of Edgar Cayce and Ruth Montgomery books lying around the house. We openly talked about all types of spirituality. Eventually I attended classes on everything from charkas (energy centers of the body) to aura clearing and reading, to intuitional development. One of the topics I studied was grounding. I was always taught to send a cord of energy down from my first chakra to the earth. I didn’t question the technique at the time, but as I have progressed on my path, I have come to learn what I believe is a better way to ground. It’s about grounding up, not down.
Sending a cord down doesn’t include the hips, thighs, knees, ankles and feet. Almost half the body is excluded from the process. This type of grounding doesn’t make me feel connected to the earth. I was once in a metaphysical workshop when I noticed the partner I was working with had no connection to the earth through his legs and feet. I asked him how he grounded, and he replied through a cord straight down. He looked “top heavy” and ungrounded. He said he was a runner, and was having difficulty because he felt he was going to trip and fall all the time.
The whole point of grounding is to anchor the body’s energy to the earth for stability as well as allow the body to draw up the healing energy for healing and rejuvenation. Our bodies are an extension of the earth and made of the same stuff. I believe a body needs a strong connection to its source.
My method of grounding is to draw up the healing, grounding energies of the earth into the body. Start this process by first activating your charkas with your intention. Sit in a chair or on the floor/ground and close your eyes. Take a couple of relaxing breaths. With your intention, open the chakra that exists approximately 2 feet below your feet. This is called the earth chakra. Next open the charkas in your feet. Then continue to open the charkas of your knees and hips, opening the pathway to your first chakra.
Next place your attention deep in the earth, connecting to the crystals, minerals, water, magma, oil, and underground water. Then allow your mind to connect to the surface energies of mountains, trees, flowers, rivers, oceans and more.
On your next breath, draw up the energies of the earth up through your feet, continuing up your legs, hips, to the first chakra. Continue to move the energy up to fill your entire body. You can visualize this as a color, such as ocean blue or forest green. Allow your body to take in all that energy into your cells.
How does your body feel? Are there any sensations? Is it heavier? Lighter?
When I first experimented with this grounding technique, I felt heavy; but it didn’t feel bad. My body loves this nourishment. I especially love the healing energy of ferns and moss, and I sometimes visualize covering my body with them. I know that sounds weird, but it feels great. I’m sure you will find certain plants, trees, rocks, flowers, or whatever, that you will gravitate towards. And you don’t have to know what you connect to; your body will know. Take a deep breath and draw in the energies of a tree, an ocean, a flower, or even Mt. Diablo. Try it and see what it’s like.

Thanks, Holly

Garden Warriors Usher in Spring

I absolutely love daffodils! Just when I have finally had it with a long, dreary winter, their bright yellow faces come into bloom and remind me that the darkness is almost over. They bring in spring aliveness, and I know I will be able to spend more time in the garden.
Miniature daffodils are my ultimate favorite. They have such adorable fairy energy! I love to have a pot of them on my desk because they give me a joyful feeling.
In the Michael System, daffodils are Warrior plants. Warrior energy is generally defined by this system as grounding, productive, and protective. They ground the energy of a location, provide an energy source for other plants, and
protect the vital energies of the landscape with their presence. (More about the Michael System)at http://www.themichaelteaching.com/
Planting them in locations such as at a mailbox post, a front walkway, or a far corner of your yard not only creates a visual focal point in the spring, but also stabilizes the land energies. The nearby land spirits utilize their energy to revitalize and regenerate the bio-energetic integrity of the land.
Whether up and blooming or seemingly dormant underground, daffodils are constantly providing energy for the surrounding landscape. During their spring cycle, they bring forth the burst of spring consciousness, providing life force energy to plants nearby. As summer progresses and daffodils die back, they draw their life force from their stems back into their underground bulb. Daffodil energy, however, does not dissipate or go dormant. On the contrary, their energy still radiates to strengthen the land around them.
With their ability to anchor and provide necessary life force, daffodils are able to strengthen the etheric web of life within a landscape. This strengthens the vital energy and promotes a strong, healthy environment for all who live there, including the humans.
For those of you who buy potted daffodils, consider planting them in your own yard or somewhere in your community. Several years ago when I lived in a condo, a girlfriend and I snuck around the complex and planted over 30 bulbs. We had a blast! The following year we saw our handy work popping up all over. What’s nice is they multiply their numbers each year, so there will be more flowers for years to come.
Daffodils are planted in the fall, so you have time to plant later this year. They are easy to plant and are “very forgiving” if you don’t quite know what you are doing. Check with your local nursery or get on line to find out when best to plant daffodils in your area. Who knows, you might forget you planted them, and then next spring they just might bring a smile to your face, too!

Hetch Hetchy Nature adventure

Hiking is one of my favorite pastimes. I love to hike locations that are out of the way and not over populated. Last fall a group of friends and I headed to Yosemite and Hetch Hetchy valleys. I love Yosemite, don’t get me wrong, but the amount of human energy and thought forms in Yosemite Valley is very heavy and uncomfortable for me. The current “leave no footprint” trend promotes taking out what we brought with us, leaving no trash behind, but doesn’t address our “energetic waste.” As an intuitive, I believe we need to take our thought forms and energy with us as well. And by that I mean taking with us our thoughts, emotions, anxieties, anger, frustration, despair and more. With thousands of tourists traveling every year in Yosemite, the valley floor is full of energy “debris.”

Hetch Hetchy, on the other hand, has pristine energy. While many environmentalists don’t like the O'Shaughnessy Dam, which was built in the early 1920s, there is something to be said for no Winnebagos, campers, hot dog stands, tour buses, trash, parking lots and pollution. As far as my intuition goes, the dammed water hasn’t blocked the actual flow of energy moving through the valley. Hetch Hetchy is only a 20 minute drive from Yosemite.

If you haven’t hiked Hetch Hetchy, you’re in for a inspiring experience. The gorgeous azure blue water of the dammed lake is flanked on either side of the valley by majestic granite peaks. For those metaphysically inclined, granite has a healing quality, so just being there for the day feels like having a Reiki attunement.

The day hike I like starts at the dam and continues to Wapama Falls, which is a 4 mile round trip. The hike starts by walking across the dam, going through a tunnel in a mountain and continuing along the edge of the valley to very spectacular falls. If you want to see the falls, make sure you make your trek in spring and summer. Later in the year the water dries up and you can miss the action. The park system has maintained the trail and even built wooden walkways near the falls so you can get a close look. If there is a breeze, you will be misted.

After hiking to the falls, my friends and I had lunch and then had a meditation together. Heavenly. One the way back, we met some park workers that had been repairing the trail. This is what “rush hour” at Hetch Hetchy looks like.

We stayed in Evergreen at the Evergreen Lodge. This a great place that is located away from the Yosemite masses. They offer cozy cabins, a restaurant, an activity center with internet access. They also provide nightly activities for their guests, such as an outdoor fire and all the ingredients to make S’mores. Check them out at www.evergreenlodge.com.
